CPM Announces The Broadening Of Its Offerings By Providing Consultative Support Services for Oracle-Primavera P6
CPM has responded to a growing demand from the marketplace for help with the Oracle-Primavera P6 EPPM software suite by launching Consultative Support Services (CSS).
This new service provides customers with a central point of contact when dealing with functional or technical problems. Reliable support is provided by certified Oracle-Primavera P6 consultants, who are experienced in trouble-shooting product issues.
As well as providing support for both end-users and system administrators, Consultative Support Services also allows customers to request ad-hoc training sessions as required. Often delivered by phone or virtual web conference, these sessions can be used to deliver quick and focused training on-demand.

CPM Announces Continued Success of E-Learning Course e102 for the Oracle-Primavera P6 Power Client
Growth in sales of the CPM web based educational course e102 for Oracle-Primavera P6 was 82% year to date at the end of June, 2010 compared to the same period last year. Orders from around the world continue to come in using the Pay Pal auto payment procedure. The CPM Course e102 includes in-depth content and the convenience of learning at your own pace. This course is ideal as a refresher course or as a lead-in to the full classroom training.

CPM Expands Development of Web Based E-Learning Courses
CPM targets September 1, 2010 for Release of its new E-Learning Course e101 for Oracle Primavera P6 Web Access. This course provides a self-paced training solution for use of P6 Web Access for managing projects.
Custom courses can also be developed to provide E-Learning solutions specific to customer needs and project process. This can be very beneficial for ongoing training of contractors and new staff members.
CPM Announces the Continued Success of the Customized CPM300 Training Course - P6 For Plant Maintenance and Turnarounds
The CPM classroom training course CPM300 continues to be adopted as an industry standard training solution for the use of Oracle-Primavera P6 in Plant Maintenance and Turnarounds projects. CPM300 attendance to-date this year has grown 71% compared to the same period last year. The next four day CPM300 course will be held in the CPM Training Centre in Edmonton starting on Tuesday, September 21st.

Starting at the beginning of August, 2010, new Ares customers will receive the G2 version of the PRISM Cost & Progress software module. The G2 versions of PRISM Estimator and PRISM Contracts & Procurement modules will be available later this year.
PRISM G2 Cost & Progress provides Cost Analysis, Middleware (Integration between ERP Financial and Oracle-Primavera P6), and Advanced Earned Value Performance Management software for a broad spectrum of industries.

Oracle-Primavera Announces Increased Functionality In P6 V7 Web Access
Oracle-Primavera states that P6 V7’s Web Access software module now includes 95% of the P6 V7 PowerClient functionality. This means P6 power users can now realistically use Web Access to not only update their projects but to help manage them in real-time. P6 V7 Web Access now makes excellent use of screen real estate as described below. Users familiar with P3 functionality will find this feature particularly useful.

Oracle-Primavera P6 V7 Web Access Improves Efficiency Allowing Less Expensive Remote Access To PM Database
The major importance of P6 V7 Web Access improvements is its ability to allow users to use web based Primavera software module to help manage projects in real-time all around the world. This means remote users are no longer required to use the more costly and challenging Citrix remote access functionality to access a centralized multi-project database.
The P6 V7 Web Access software module now facilitates the easier deployment of an enterprise-wide IT and project management software functional solution for multiple divisions or business units all managing their own projects with their own Work Breakdown Structures and all having their respective data roll up in the enterprise allowing corporate-wide visibility to projects progress and problems.

New Hires At CPM
CPM is very pleased to welcome Robert Heang as a Technology Support Coordinator. While at Simon Fraser University Robert studied Management of Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Project Management and Economics. Robert graduated from SFU recently with a high first class average. One of Robert’s duties will be to coordinate incoming Consulting Support calls and e-mails related to CPM’s new Consulting Support Service mentioned above.
